A close-up of The Monolith in Oslo's Frogner Park. It was designed by Gustav Vigeland, and took 3 stone carvers 14 years to complete. It comprises of 121 human figures piled up towards the sky to a height of 14.12 metres. It represents "man’s desire to become closer with the spiritual and divine".
