Gobi Desert, Mongolia

A herd of camels patrols the area where the sand dunes of the Gobi Desert meet the endless grasslands of the Mongolian Plains. This picture was taken during one of many breakdowns on our 3-day drive from the capital, Ulaan Bataar, to see the dunes.
